Under what circumstances should the court appoint a lawyer to defend the defendant?

Legal analysis: (1) people who are blind, deaf, dumb or with limited capacity;

(two) minors under the age of eighteen at the time of hearing;

(3) Persons who may be sentenced to death.

Legal basis: Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Implementation of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Article 36 If the defendant fails to entrust a defender, the people's court shall appoint a defender for him under any of the following circumstances:
