The First People’s Court of Dongguan City has centralized jurisdiction over first-instance administrative litigation cases, administrative compensation cases and non-litigation administrative actions, and accepts first-instance criminal cases, civil and commercial cases (including foreign-related, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-related cases), and some Intellectual property civil and commercial cases and enforcement cases. In 2021, the total number of cases received was 113,000, and 13,000 cases were closed.
The Dongguan First People's Court was separated from the former Dongguan People's Court and was established on June 5438 October 1, 2009.
