If a party meets the conditions for legal aid and needs to apply for legal aid, he or she can apply for legal aid at the Legal Aid Center of the Bureau of Justice and submit documents proving that he or she meets the conditions for legal aid.
If it is a criminal case and the defendant is blind, deaf or mute, or the minor has not appointed a defender, or the defendant may be sentenced to death and has not appointed a defender, he should obtain legal aid. During the investigation, prosecution and trial stages, the public prosecutor and the law shall designate legal aid for the defendant.
