His behavior violated the provisions of Article 330th of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), and he was suspected of obstructing the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. According to Article 112 of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), Hanjiang Branch of Yangzhou Public Security Bureau decided to take criminal detention measures against Mao Mouning on July 29th.
