Chen Lei, male, prosecutor, born in May, 1963, from Shunchang County, Fujian Province. East China University of Political Science and Law, Bachelor of Laws (1983), Master of Laws (1999), Doctor of Laws (2006).

At present, he is the deputy director, chief procurator and senior procurator of the Taiwan Province Provincial Case Office of the People's Procuratorate of Fujian Province, an adjunct professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, Huaqiao University and Fuzhou University, a visiting professor at Fujian Institute of Political Science and Law Management, a national procuratorial theory researcher, and one of the top ten outstanding young legal talents in Fujian Province.

Chen Lei has been engaged in judicial practice for a long time, and has worked in judicial administrative organs, law firms and procuratorial organs successively, paying attention to the combination of theoretical research and practical work. In recent years, Chen Lei has closely combined the procuratorial work with the current practice of anti-corruption struggle, devoted itself to the theoretical application research in frontier fields, and focused on the improvement of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and China's anti-corruption criminal legislation, international cooperation in anti-corruption and the control of commercial bribery, and achieved fruitful results. Theory and Practice of Punishing and Preventing International Corruption Crimes (Monograph), International Anti-Corruption Storm (Monograph) and Criminal Case Plea Review-Smuggling Crime (Editor-in-Chief) have been officially published, and have been published in China Yearbook of International Law, Law, Law Journal, China Law, Crime Research and People's Procuratorate. He has presided over or participated in the national social science fund projects such as "Research on the Theory and Practice of International Cooperation against Corruption in China", "Research Report on Improving the Working Mechanism of Preventing the Escape of Corrupt Persons", "United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Construction of Criminal Rule of Law in China", and many national and provincial research projects entrusted by the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC Central Committee and china law society.

The relevant research report written by Comrade Chen Lei has been attached importance by the central authorities and recognized by the theoretical and practical circles. Comrade Chen Lei's thesis "Research on Four Outstanding Issues in the Current Practice of International Criminal Law Cooperation in China" won the first prize of excellent theoretical research achievements of procuratorial organs in 2006; His monograph "Theory and Practice of Punishing and Preventing International Corruption Crimes" won the second prize of books (periodicals) for spiritual civilization construction of the fourth national procuratorial organs and the third prize of outstanding legal research achievements (lawyers) in Fujian Province in February and October 2006 respectively.
