A person who is sentenced to probation by the people's court according to law belongs to the circumstances stipulated in Article 11 of the Measures for the Administration of Grassroots Legal Service Workers, and may not register for the examination to become a legal worker, except for negligent crimes. Persons under any of the following circumstances shall not register for the examination or apply for assessment:
(1) Those who have been subjected to criminal punishment (except negligent crimes);
(2) Being expelled from public office;
(3) having no or limited capacity for civil conduct.
Article 14 The judicial administrative organ shall make a decision not to approve the practice registration of a person who applies for the practice registration of grassroots legal service workers under any of the following circumstances:
(1) Under any of the circumstances specified in Article 11 of these Measures;
(2) Having been dismissed by the grassroots legal service;
(3) The lawyer's practice certificate has been revoked or the punishment period for stopping practicing has not expired;
(4) having the qualification of lawyer or notary and practicing in a law firm or notary office.
