1. In reality, there are a large number of people pretending to be lawyers and policemen to send letters and notices. Most of them are asset management companies, that is, debt collection, false letters, forged letters, false letters and forged official seals. These involve illegal crimes, forgery of official seals, fraud and so on.
2. Article 5 and Article 14 of the Lawyers Law stipulate that "a lawyer shall obtain a lawyer's qualification and practice certificate when practicing";
A person who has not obtained a lawyer's practice certificate shall not practice in the name of a lawyer, and shall not engage in litigation agency or defense business for the purpose of seeking economic benefits.
Article 46 of the Lawyers Law: "Anyone who impersonates a lawyer to engage in legal services shall be ordered by the public security organ to stop his illegal practice, his illegal income shall be confiscated, and he may also be fined not more than 5,000 yuan and detained for not more than 15 days".
"Those who engage in litigation agency or defense business for economic benefits without obtaining a lawyer's practice certificate shall be ordered by the judicial administrative department of the local people's government at or above the county level to stop their illegal practice, their illegal income shall be confiscated, and they may be fined between one and five times their illegal income".
4. According to China's Public Security Administration Punishment Law, the public security organs will order fake lawyers to stop their illegal practice, confiscate their illegal income, impose a fine of less than 5,000 yuan, and detain them for less than 15 days. If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
