(7) Whether the investigation activities of the city’s public security organs are legal, whether the trial activities of the city’s People’s Court are legal, and whether the law enforcement activities of the Hainan Province Sanya Detention Center, Sanya Prison, and Hainan Province Sanya Labor Reeducation Management Center are legal .
(8) Protest against the criminal judgments and rulings of the Suburban People's Court that have become legally effective and are indeed erroneous, in accordance with the trial supervision procedures; the Municipal Intermediate People's Court believes that there are erroneous judgments and rulings that have not yet become legally effective. If a ruling is made, a protest shall be made in accordance with the law; the Municipal Intermediate People's Court shall, in accordance with the trial supervision procedures, report to the Provincial People's Procuratorate to file a protest in accordance with the trial supervision procedures for criminal judgments and rulings that have taken legal effect and are deemed to be erroneous.
(9) Carry out legal supervision over civil trials, economic trials and administrative litigation activities. Supervise the legality of judgments, rulings and executions of civil, economic and administrative cases in suburban people's courts and intermediate people's courts.
(10) Accept reports, accusations, complaints and reports from citizens as well as surrenders of criminal suspects.
(11) Carry out procuratorial technical work such as physical evidence inspection, forensic appraisal, and forensic accounting appraisal.
(12) Responsible for the team building and ideological and political work of the city's procuratorial organs, as well as the ideological, organizational and style building of the procuratorial organs' party.
(13) Responsible for other matters that should be undertaken by the Sanya Municipal People's Procuratorate.
