The Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors was adopted at the 2nd1meeting of the 7th the NPC Standing Committee on September 4th, 2006, and was promulgated by Decree No.50 of the President of the People's Republic of China on September 4th, 2006. According to the Decision of the NPC Standing Committee on Amending the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC), which was adopted at the 29th meeting of the 11th the NPC Standing Committee on October 26th, 20 12 10, promulgated by Decree No.65 of the President of the People's Republic of China on October 26th.
The Law on the Protection of Minors is divided into seven chapters and 72 articles, namely, general provisions, family protection, school protection, social protection, judicial protection, legal liability and supplementary provisions, which shall come into force on June 1 2007.
