Is motorcycles banned in Shenzhen?

Motorcycles are not allowed on the road in Shenzhen, even if they have a license. Only post offices and gas stations are allowed on the road legally, not individuals. The traffic policeman calls himself Shenzhen Iron Rider and rides a four-cylinder and six-cylinder motorcycle. The policy of banning motorcycles and power rationing is implemented to reduce frequent accidents and exhaust emissions, thereby improving Shenzhen's environment.

Shenzhen traffic police put forward four rules for the motorcycle ban and power rationing action:

1. Anyone who drives a motorcycle without a license will be subject to administrative detention.

2. Anyone who uses electric bicycles or electric tricycles to solicit passengers for illegal operations shall be subject to administrative detention for the crime of disrupting order in public places.

3. Anyone who illegally uses electric (motorized) tricycles will be subject to administrative detention in accordance with the law.

4. Those who violate relevant laws and regulations by violently resisting the law "related to motorcycles and electricity" shall be subject to administrative detention or criminal detention in accordance with the law.
