1. According to Article 43 of the Criminal Procedure Law: "During the trial, the defendant may refuse the defender to continue to defend him, or entrust another defender to defend him." If the parties think that the performance of defense lawyers cannot safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, the law gives them the right to change lawyers.

According to the contract law, as the entrusting party, the defendant or his family can terminate the agency contract at any time, withdraw the entrustment of the original attorney and replace it with a new agent, but they must notify the court in writing in time. If there is a lawyer's refund dispute, it can be handled separately.
