1. Training objectives

Cultivate leaders who support the Communist Party of China, support the socialist system, serve socialist construction, develop morally, intellectually, and physically, and master solid basic theories in this subject area and systematic expertise; high-level theoretical or managerial talents with the ability to independently engage in scientific research, education and specialized management work.

2. Academic length

Except for the majors marked in the remarks column of the professional catalog, the academic length of other majors is generally two years.

4. Enrollment Quota

It is planned to recruit about 1,400 postgraduate students (including recommended students. Except for the School of Economics, recommended students for each major account for about 10-20 of the enrollment plan. The recommended students received by the School of Economics account for about 40-50% of the enrollment plan), of which about 650 are under the national plan, and the rest are commissioned or self-funded training outside the plan. The rest are unplanned entrusted training or self-funded training. Candidates with equivalent academic qualifications must apply to the Graduate Admissions Office of our school before September 25, 2008, and attach relevant supporting documents. Registration procedures can only be completed after approval by our school.

Undergraduate graduates with nationally recognized academic qualifications and fresh undergraduate graduates from adult colleges and universities (excluding self-study exam students and online education students) can apply for the exam with the equivalent academic qualifications as undergraduate graduates. During the registration stage, they must fill in the form truthfully, without prior notice. Apply to the Graduate Admissions Office of our school;

3. Applicants must be under 40 years old. Commissioned trainees and self-funded students are not subject to this restriction;

VI. Registration and examination

1. Registration

There are two stages: online registration and on-site confirmation:

For the specific registration time and location, please refer to the specific regulations of the Ministry of Education on the website of the Graduate Admissions Office of our school in that year or in September.

2) On-site confirmation: The time is as specified by the Ministry of Education of that year, usually from November 10th to 14th. Within the stipulated time, candidates must go to the designated registration point to go through the on-site confirmation procedures with their valid ID cards (military ID card for active military personnel and civilian cadre ID card), graduation certificate (student ID card for fresh graduates) and online registration number. Pay the registration fee and take photos on site.

Candidates who take the exam in Shanghai must go to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for on-site confirmation. Candidates who apply for the exam from other places must go to the registration points designated by the admissions offices of colleges and universities in various provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) for on-site confirmation. Among them, those applying for the Master of Business Administration (Master of Business Administration) Candidates for MBA) and individual examinations can only go to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for on-site confirmation.

2. Examination

1) Preliminary examination: The preliminary examination will be held in January 2009 (see the examination notice for details). Except for the national unified examination and joint examination subjects, other subjects will be administered by our school. proposition. The exam time for each subject is 3 hours. The initial test location is the test center designated by the admissions office of colleges and universities in each province (municipality, autonomous region) or Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

2) Re-examination: Implement difference re-examination. The content of the re-examination is generally the professional knowledge, foreign language and comprehensive ability of the candidates' application or transfer. The re-examination method is a combination of oral examination and written examination or oral examination. The re-examination methods and subjects of each major will be announced on the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Graduate Admissions website and stated in the re-examination notice. Candidates with equivalent academic qualifications must take two additional (written) undergraduate courses in the major they apply for.

From 2007 to 2011, the China Scholarship Council will fund 50 students from colleges and universities under the "Double First-Class" construction to study for doctoral degrees at first-class foreign universities and receive guidance or joint training from first-class tutors (limited to doctoral students in our school) ), current master’s students in our school can apply for funding to study for a doctoral degree.

3. The Professional Master of Business Administration degree only accepts self-financed or commissioned graduate students. The Professional Master of Laws degree only accepts self-financed graduate students. Please consult the relevant college for specific tuition fees.
