Article 167: After receiving the appeal petition, the people's court that originally tried it shall serve a copy of the appeal petition to the other party within five days, and the other party shall submit a defense within 15 days from the date of receipt. shape. If the other party fails to submit a statement of defense, it will not affect the hearing of the People's Court.

If a litigation participant or other person commits any of the following acts, the people's court may impose a fine or detain him or her according to the seriousness of the case; if a crime is constituted, criminal liability shall be pursued in accordance with the law:< /p>
