Although the mountain is not high, there is water in front and jungle behind. There are misty clouds in the morning and hundreds of birds are singing at night. Every hot day, civil and military celebrities come here to enjoy the elegance and sincerity of Xing 'an. "
During Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, Rikan Zen Master presided over Shuangxi Temple, and Najintang Temple was the lower house of Shuangxi, also known as Bieyuan. At that time, the great master Yin Guang was instructed by Haiding lawyer of Shuangxi Temple in Shanghai. Being good at printing books, he sent Yin Guang to Jintang Temple to write commandments. He writes day and night, his eyes are red and he is almost blind. Lawyer Haiding asked him to read a volume of Pure Land of Dragon Trees. After printing, he knew that the method of chanting Buddha and living in pure land was a bitter book, that is, he specialized in chanting Buddha names in his spare time. After sleeping at night, people sit up and recite the Buddha again. Even when writing, they always recite the Buddha. So although I struggled to write, I still struggled to support it, that is, I finished it during my abstinence, and my eyes were completely better. So I went back to the pure land with all my heart and ended up in Jintang Temple. In order to commemorate Master Yin Guang's creation of pure land in Jintang Temple, Jintang Temple was changed into a pure land Dojo, devoted to pure land practice, and carried forward the merits of chanting Buddha wholeheartedly.
