Can the police see anyone after an arrest?

Approval of arrest. You can see people. But you can only meet with a lawyer. After receiving the arrest notice, family members can only entrust a lawyer to meet with them, but they cannot meet with the criminal suspect. When the public security organs arrest a person, they shall notify the arrested person's family within 24 hours after the arrest.

Legal Basis

Article 93 of the Criminal Procedure Law When the public security organs arrest a person, they must produce an arrest warrant. After arrest, the arrested person shall be immediately sent to a detention center for custody. Unless notification is not possible, the arrested person's family should be notified within 24 hours of the arrest. Article 94 The People's Court and the People's Procuratorate must interrogate those who decide to arrest on their own, and the public security organs must interrogate those who the People's Procuratorate approves to arrest within 24 hours after arrest. When it is found that the arrest should not have been made, the person must be released immediately and a certificate of release must be issued.
