Criminal detention cannot be reviewed. Criminal detention is a criminal coercive measure taken by the public security organs. If criminal detention is inappropriate, the people's court, procuratorate and public security organs shall promptly cancel or change it. Criminal suspects and their legal representatives, close relatives, and lawyers may appeal, accuse, and request the lifting or modification of compulsory measures.

Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Law
The People's Court, People's Procuratorate and Public Security Bureau find that the coercive measures taken against criminal suspects and defendants are inappropriate , it should be canceled or changed in a timely manner. If the public security organ releases an arrested person or changes arrest measures, it shall notify the original approval People's Procuratorate.
