Xianyang Lawyers Mediation Center is a mediation institution set up by law firms, aiming at solving disputes through legal channels, rather than executing detention or imprisonment. The unveiling ceremony of the center was held in Shaanxi Qinzhidao Law Firm on June 26th, 2020 +065438+20201October 26th, and was jointly established by Xianyang Municipal Bureau of Justice and Xianyang Lawyers Association.
The center has six mediation rooms, 1 secretariat and case management room, with an area of180m2. At present, there are 7 1 mediators. The main duty of the mediation center is to provide legal services and help solve civil disputes, and it does not involve any form of detention activities.
This can be confirmed by introducing its purpose, mediation process, rights and obligations of the applicant. Therefore, the nature and function of Xianyang lawyer mediation center are completely different from those of law enforcement agencies such as detention centers or prisons.
