Bengbu Tank College is a college for training armored commanders. Founded in 1 September 19501,it was originally named Tank No.1 School, and was rebuilt in 1978, named Tank School.1September 1986 was changed to Bengbu Tank College of the People's Liberation Army. On October 20111010, China People's Liberation Army Bengbu Tank Academy was renamed as China People's Liberation Army Armored Forces Academy (deputy corps level).
