Ningxia Police Vocational College is located in Yinchuan, the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is a full-time general college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is the only police vocational college in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, one of the first three pilot colleges for the reform of the national political and legal police recruitment and training system, and designated as a key construction institution by the deputy department-level institutions managed by the Ningxia Public Security Department and the Ningxia Education Department. The college has five major brands: Ningxia Judicial Police Vocational College, China University of Political Science and Law Ningxia Correspondence Station, China National Lawyers Correspondence Center Ningxia Counseling Station, Ningxia Judicial Cadre Training Center, and Ningxia Judge Continuing Education College.
Ningxia Police Vocational College was formerly the Ningxia Political and Legal Cadre School established in 1980. In 2002, with the approval of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, it was upgraded to Ningxia Judicial Police Vocational College; in 2065438 + March 2007, the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Government decided to adjust the college management system, place it under the Autonomous Region Public Security Department, and change its name to Ningxia Police Vocational College.
The school’s official website in April 2023 showed that the college covers an area of ??455 acres and has two teaching sites: the branch headquarters and the West Campus (formerly the Police Training Corps of the Public Security Department, now the Ningxia People’s Police Practical Training Base); There are 15 higher vocational majors; 280 faculty and staff and 4,212 students.
