Bus route: Take bus No. 306 at Xiaozhuang Station on the east side of Beijing-Guangzhou Center and get off at Changying Intersection West Station. You will see a dark gray 5-story building on the north side of the road. There is a very tall iron tower on the roof, and the Huangqu subway station is under construction at the door.
Other buses on Chaoyang North Road: 499, 991, and 675 all pass in front of the detention center.
Take the subway and get off at Shuangqiao Station. You can take a taxi there quickly for 10 yuan.
By car: Go east on Chaoyang North Road and cross the Baijialou Bridge on the East Fifth Ring Road, then drive another 2 kilometers to get there.
Take the Airport Expressway 2 from west to east and go through the first exit of Pingfangqiao. Take the auxiliary road to the T-junction and turn right to Chaoyang North Road. Take the Second Expressway from north to south, get off at the Guanzhuang Road exit, turn left, cross the bridge, and turn right to reach Chaoyang North Road.
You can also get off at Shuangqiao Toll Station on Jingtong Expressway, turn left after passing the traffic light, and drive 2 kilometers north to Chaoyang North Road. Note: There is no exit at the intersection of East Fifth Ring Road and Chaoyang North Road. You need to go to Gaobeidian or Qishukexia Fifth Ring Road in advance.
After the opening of Metro Line 6 at the end of 2012, you can get off at Huangqu Station.
The Chaoyang District Detention Center will be relocated around 2015.
