A lawyer refers to a practitioner who has obtained a lawyer's practice certificate according to law, accepts entrustment or assignment, and provides legal services to the parties. A lawyer's qualification certificate is a qualification certificate for applying for lawyer's practice and engaging in lawyer's profession.
Since 2008, senior students can take the national unified judicial examination held by the state in the last semester of their senior year by virtue of their student status. Senior students who receive the graduation certificate in the following year may apply for lawyer qualification certificate and internship certificate if they pass the judicial examination, and may apply for lawyer practice certificate if they pass the judicial examination and practice in a law firm for one year.
Lawyers can be divided into full-time lawyers and part-time lawyers according to the nature of their work, civil lawyers, criminal lawyers and administrative lawyers according to their business scope, social lawyers, corporate lawyers and public lawyers according to their clients and work status. Lawyer's business is mainly divided into litigation business and non-litigation business.
