The police in Tianshui City, Gansu Province reported the destruction of the tomb. What is the value of the destroyed tombs?

The police in Tianshui, Gansu Province reported the grave robbery, and the destroyed tombs have high research value.

It happened on1October 19, at the construction site of the second work area of the ninth bid section of CCCC Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. from 25th Jingning, Boyang Village, Boyang Town, Maiji District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. At that time, Zhang Moumou, the excavator driver, discovered an ancient tomb during the construction. Then Zhang Moumou reported the situation to Ren Moumou, the person in charge of the construction site, and Ren Moumou reported the situation to Li Moumou, the project technician. However, the three men destroyed the tomb without reporting to the cultural relics administration department. After the incident, the police of McKee Branch of Tianshui Public Security Bureau immediately assisted the cultural relics administrative department to protect the scene, carry out investigation and evidence collection, and filed a case for investigation on1October 20. So far, the criminal suspects Zhang Moumou, Ren Moumou and Li Moumou have been taken criminal compulsory measures according to law, and the case is under further investigation. At the same time, the Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau has also organized cultural relics experts to rush to the scene.

Although the official age of the tomb has not been reported, it must be a long time ago, and Zhang Moumou, Ren Moumou and Li Moumou destroyed the tomb with excavators, which will greatly reduce the research value of the tomb. In a word, this ancient tomb is actually of great research value.

In fact, according to China's national conditions, the sale of cultural relics is strictly restricted by law. But because of the huge benefits, there are still some people who take risks, steal ancient tombs and sell cultural relics. So, speaking of which, where are the tombs stolen the most frequently? Where did the stolen cultural relics go?

In fact, we can see from a set of data of China Judgment Document Network that from 20 1 1 to 20 19, * * * tried 13 16 cases related to robbery. Among them, in 20 18, the court tried and sentenced 249 cases of grave robbery, the highest in the past years. This shows that although the crackdown on grave robbery in China is increasing, the situation of cracking down on and preventing cultural relics crimes is still grim.

Judging from the situation in recent years, Shanxi and Shaanxi have the most grave robbery cases. From 2002 to 20 19, there were 3 13 and 2 19 cases in Shanxi and Shaanxi respectively, followed by Henan and Shandong, with 19 1 0/respectively. The ancient capitals of Xi, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Anyang and Zhengzhou have a long history, and there are many ancient tombs, so it is more likely that the tombs will be stolen. According to the analysis of Shaanxi imperial tombs, there are 82 imperial tombs in Shaanxi, ranking first in the country.

So, in this case, how will Zhang Moumou be punished for destroying the ancient tomb? In fact, according to relevant laws and regulations, those who negligently damage precious cultural relics under state protection or are designated as national key cultural relics protection units or provincial cultural relics protection units shall be investigated for criminal responsibility. For example, before the construction of infrastructure projects, the necessary investigation and exploration were not carried out, resulting in the destruction of ancient cultural sites, ancient tombs and precious cultural relics in the construction process.
