What can I do to save you, counselor? -Comment on Sanchakou

This has brought the prosperity of Hong Kong movies for a while, but it has also been criticized by professional film critics. The lack of thought and connotation has become a discordant note in its glory. However, there are always a few people who try to break this tradition. In my opinion, Chen Musheng's Sanchakou is such an attempt. Two unrelated people were killed, which opened the curtain of the film: under neon lights, heavy rain hit the ground like an arrow. Messy and hurried footsteps, swaying in the midnight street under the umbrella. She felt that someone was following her. Indeed, at the corner a few meters behind her, there was a man with no intention. Later, she didn't know, or she would think it was all her illusion; But the evil under the neon lights is still confusing. In a trance, a sharp wire suddenly strangled him. The mantis catches cicadas, and the yellowbird is behind, which he never expected: he kicked and kicked on the ground, his legs cramped, and his nails were deeply scratched on the wall as he lay dying-it was shocking. This kind of violence, which seems to be divorced from the theme of the film, actually has another meaning. It is always looming in the ups and downs, until the rainy night of fate arrival is finally deduced, and a helpless life is introduced into the abyss! On the plane, police officer Sun Zhaoren took the tainted witness to the screen. The witness wanted to eat noodles, and the police's ridicule blurted out; But no one expected that life would be so fragile that ordinary demands would suddenly become a luxury. A bullet penetrated the witness's chest. The world is always mysterious, and the original parallel and unrelated life trajectories will cross and collide because of unexpected accidental factors. When life and death were hanging in the balance, the bullet that had not been fired had tied the fate of the police and the killer tightly together. The complex relationship between the characters gradually emerged. Police, killers and lawyers were dragged down by a money laundering case. The second murder has actually connected the main characters. In the dark and suspenseful plot, every subject has double or even multiple personality splits and deviations in industry, living habits and personality. Three imaginative careers, three unpredictable lives, how many confusions and choices there are at the fork of fate, and where to go. The tension of the story has jumped on the screen! As the trump card of the Commercial Crime Bureau, Officer Sun Zhaoren was in an awkward position when faced with serial murders and tainted witness murders in without a clue. However, what really bothered him was the mysterious disappearance of his ex-girlfriend ten years ago. Here, the director has set an inescapable emotional chain for his life. When he met the wife of barrister Du Housheng unexpectedly, he was completely fascinated by her almost identical face with his girlfriend. He began to pay attention to the lawyer's family unconsciously, but in the end he hit the nail on the head and contributed to the truth of the case. But is justice that has deviated from duty and procedure complete? Will it become a "fruit of a poisonous tree"? What is the irreplaceable value of the so-called truth? Can the police completely crush the emotional haze hanging over their lives? ..... From a professional point of view, the killer's technical level is first-class, but he is not a qualified killer. He not only showed mercy to the police several times, but even risked imprisonment to lead the police closer to the truth. He has deviated from the professional ethics of the killer. Fate is a big picture, and he can't escape after all ... but it is also a kind of happiness to go to the grave with the person he likes, even though he died unexpectedly-although there is quite a tragedy in Gu Long's works. The story of barrister Du Housheng is almost perfect. He is eloquent and invincible, becoming a model in the industry. He has a happy family, a beautiful and gentle wife and healthy and lovely children. But at the right time, he will completely subvert the image he shows to the public and give the audience a great spiritual shock. Although the film focuses on the role of the police, the space for lawyers to show their strength in the film is extremely limited, but I see more from the slightly pale characters ... The earliest feelings for lawyers originated from the Hong Kong films I watched when I was a child: Kan Kan, wearing a wig and a solemn lawyer robe, walking around the court and talking with measured steps. But the image of a lawyer is not so sacred. Shakespeare once said, "If we have to solve an urgent matter, let's kill all the lawyers first!" " Even at the best of times, the public image of lawyers is hard to praise. As a group, lawyers are often criticized and condemned. People think that lawyers are greedy speculators, taking advantage of people's danger and robbing them. The intervention of lawyers often damages the possibility that both parties to a dispute will not resort to the law to solve their contradictions-too much dependence or even indulging in the law may lead to Kenovian tragedies, and even actively intensify the contradictions between close relatives in divorce cases. Slang or cartoons often refer to "ambulance chasers", mocking unscrupulous lawyers who rush to represent damages after traffic accidents. Although the history of China's lawyer system is not long, it is difficult for lawyers to escape similar moral and trust crises, which can be seen from the repeated prohibition of litigation brokers in China. Why is this happening? There are various reasons. It is true that if we start from people's psychological state rather than legal rules, we can find that the contradiction between formal system and personal preference leads to the lingering contradictions and conflicts in lawyers' behavior. According to the law, lawyers should maintain self-discipline and avoid unnecessary contact with clients. However, based on the natural connection between * * * and occupation, lawyers cannot avoid a specific connection. Even the research of sociology of law shows that this connection can reduce the tendency of the parties to the dispute to apply the law to the limit to a certain extent, and increase the possibility of negotiation and settlement. In practice, lawyers are dominated by institutional rules, social structure and other constraints, forming a possibility of expectation. At the same time, they often make timely responses that change with time, place and conditions according to the specific situation they face immediately, and then deduce the concrete reality diversity. Ideal and reality, expectation and helplessness, lawyers always work in an environment full of splitting symptoms. At the same time, lawyers, as freelancers who need special knowledge and sense of mission, are somewhat incompatible with all market economies that take money as the evaluation standard; But freelancing also needs economic income, even higher income, in order to get rid of economic pressure and better serve public welfare undertakings. This gap between what should be and what is, to some extent, has buried a degenerate factor for lawyers. However, judging lawyers from the economic perspective alone cannot fully reveal the ethical conflicts and paradoxes in the lawyer profession, let alone properly explain the pain and struggle experienced by lawyer Du Housheng in the film. Traditionally, lawyers should be loyal to clients' interests and skillfully manage facts and laws with professional knowledge in order to better serve clients. However, the lawyer's behavior of safeguarding the client's interests must be regulated by law at the same time, that is to say, in addition to the client's interests, according to the requirements of professional ethics, lawyers must also be loyal to the law. Therefore, lawyers always wander between clients and countries, markets and laws. While fulfilling the obligation of loyalty to the parties, we must also be loyal to the law, public order and good customs. Moreover, it is undeniable that it is almost inevitable that the interests of clients deviate from the interests of social relations within the scope permitted by lawyers' professional ethics; The existence of this situation puts lawyers in a dilemma. If lawyers are only required to be as loyal to the law as judges, or allowed to do anything freely to achieve the purpose of their clients, this embarrassment can be solved. However, under the current legal system, the loyalty of lawyers is divided: they are regarded as "blind" defenders of clients' interests, and at the same time they are expected to be duty-bound to safeguard the integrity of the law in court. When the two deviate, we can't expect lawyers to realize two diametrically opposite expectations at the same time. They have to make a choice, which makes lawyers fall into a moral dilemma, which becomes a dilemma that accompanies the lawyer profession, so everyone who enters the legal practice has to try to deal with this dilemma. Therefore, not everyone is suitable to be a lawyer; Only those who lack a firm single belief and can wander between different beliefs have the ability and talent to be lawyers, although it seems a bit sad. Lawyer Du Housheng of Sanchakou obviously lacks this trait. Although he actively and effectively defended and excused the client according to professional ethics, he calmly responded to the police who lost their minds because of emotional control and comforted the emotional harm caused by the lack of due process. What he did was so generous and decent; However, his inner conscience and the uneasiness caused by escaping from the law made him suffer; Although he can make his client's crime public, it not only violates his professional ethics, but will eventually destroy the whole lawyer industry. In order to get rid of guilt, he began to punish evil and redeem his soul with "private power" under the cover of night. Back to the rainy night murder case at the beginning of the film, the strangled man was repeatedly accused of indecent assault and was also suspected of raping and killing underage girls, but Du's wonderful defense finally made him acquitted because of insufficient evidence. At large, he may try to continue his heinous atrocities on that rainy night, but what he didn't expect was that lawyer Du, who had served as his savior, suddenly changed his role to "the hand of God" to preside over justice this time; Lawyers become killers. But has justice really been done? Why must it be in such a tragic way? One of the important functions of law is to restrain private rights, bring the settlement of disputes into the track of order and procedure, and replace backward, uncivilized and lawless private rights relief with standardized public rights relief, which should be suppressed and abandoned. However, the reality is always so helpless, and the so-called justice in the film will eventually be realized through private efforts. More dramatically, this master of private rights is just a lawyer who is set to rely on the public power of the state to "educate" and help solve disputes within the framework of the system. Lawyer Du is a qualified lawyer. He defends his "justice" in a different way while defending his client's rights and interests. However, he is not a qualified lawyer. Such a kind and guilty person can't travel in a divided world, and will eventually be rolling in the deep because of his conscience!
