If a lawyer violates professional disciplines and causes losses to a client, his or her law firm shall be liable for compensation. If sanctions need to be imposed, the Lawyers Disciplinary Committee shall impose sanctions in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Lawyers Disciplinary Rules; if criminal laws are violated, the judicial authorities shall investigate criminal liability in accordance with the law.
