What is the content of the bar qualification examination?
The main contents of the examination include: theoretical law, applied law, current legal regulations, legal practice and legal professional ethics. The exam is divided into four papers, each paper worth 150 points, with a total score of 600 points. Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3 are machine-readable multiple-choice questions, and Paper 4 is written case analysis, legal documents, and discussion questions. The topic of each paper is:
Paper 1: Comprehensive knowledge. Including socialist legal theory with Chinese characteristics, jurisprudence, legal history, constitutional law, economic law, international law, private international law, international economic law, judicial system and legal professional ethics.

Lawyer qualification level
The Personnel Bureau determines the qualification level based on years of service. Lawyers in China are like this. First, you get a professional qualification certificate. After one year of internship, you will get a professional qualification certificate, which is divided into three levels: ABC.
A certificate is a bachelor's degree (any major, except party school undergraduate degree) and passed the national line.
The B certificate is a legal college degree registered and passed the national line.
The C certificate is the line for law school registration and passing through protected areas (poverty-stricken counties and minority areas).
Permit A is valid nationwide, and Permit B and C are valid locally. If you have only obtained a B or C certificate, but want to practice nationwide, you can first obtain a bachelor's degree through a self-study exam (not in school) or a final exam (in school), and then take the judicial examination and pass the national line. Lawyers are divided into Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. Who cannot take the bar qualification examination?
1. Those who have received criminal punishment for intentional crimes.
2. Those who have been dismissed from public office by state agencies.
3. The lawyer’s practicing license has been revoked.
4. In accordance with the provisions of Article 18 of the "Measures for the Implementation of the National Judicial Examination (Trial)", the person is sentenced to 2 years in prison and is not allowed to register for the national judicial examination until the time limit has expired; or is sentenced to life imprisonment and is prohibited from registering for the national judicial examination.
