I. Functions and Status of Heyuan Intermediate People's Court
Heyuan Intermediate People's Court, as a local intermediate people's court, is responsible for hearing cases of first instance under the jurisdiction of the law, cases of first instance transferred for trial by grassroots people's courts, cases of second instance in which people's procuratorates appeal or protest against judgments or rulings of grassroots people's courts, and cases of second instance in which people's procuratorates protest in accordance with trial supervision procedures. At the same time, it also undertakes the supervision and guidance of the trial work of the people's courts at lower levels to ensure that the court system in the city performs its trial duties in accordance with the law, fairly and efficiently.
Two. Organizational structure and operation of Heyuan Intermediate People's Court
Heyuan Intermediate People's Court consists of president, vice president, members of the judicial committee, president, vice president and judges.
