In order to adapt to the needs of the market economy and implement the strategy of governing the country according to law, there is an urgent need to cultivate a group of professional legal talents with both professional knowledge of civil and commercial law and high levels of foreign languages. In 2005, our school added a major in civil and commercial law for undergraduate students. This major aims to cultivate high-quality legal talents with comprehensive moral, intellectual and physical development, mastering basic theoretical knowledge of civil and commercial law, having certain ability to analyze and solve problems, and possessing necessary economic management knowledge and high foreign language proficiency.

With the deepening of my country's reform and opening up and the need to join the WTO, our country is in urgent need of a group of professional legal talents who are familiar with international economic laws and practices and have high levels of foreign languages. In this context, in 2003, our school added the international economic law major to the undergraduate law program. This major aims to cultivate all-round development morally, intellectually and physically, adhere to the correct political direction, have a solid legal theoretical foundation, be familiar with the basic theories and skills of international economic law, understand the theory and practice of international economic and trade, be proficient in a foreign language, and have Legal talents with strong analytical, problem-solving and innovative abilities.
