What is the Ministry of Justice?

Legal analysis: The Ministry of Justice is the administrative organ in charge of judicial administration throughout the country. Different from the nature of the court's work, the court is a judicial organ. From the perspective of one government and two houses (the people's government, the court and the procuratorate), it ranks with the State Council. The Ministry of Justice mainly undertakes the following functions: 1. To formulate principles and policies for judicial administration, draft relevant laws and regulations, formulate departmental rules, formulate development plans for judicial administration and organize their implementation; 2, responsible for the national prison management and assume corresponding responsibilities, supervision and management of the execution of punishment, reform criminals; 3, responsible for guiding and supervising the administration of drug rehabilitation places in the judicial administrative system; 4. The Financial and Economic Committee guides the work of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Heavy Industry, the Ministry of Fuel Industry, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Food Industry, the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Land Reclamation, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Labor, the People's Bank of China and the General Administration of Customs. The Culture and Education Committee guides the work of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Academy of Sciences, the General Administration of Information and the General Administration of Publication. In order to carry out its work, the committee in charge of guidance may issue resolutions and orders to its subordinate ministries, committees, hospitals, departments, banks and subordinate organs, and review their implementation. The People's Supervision Committee is responsible for supervising whether government organs and civil servants perform their duties.
