Relying on the software factory, the college actively provides students with a practical platform. In-depth cooperation with Guangdong Telecom Engineering Company and Guangdong South Coast Science and Technology Service Co., Ltd., the partners jointly set up "Zhong Da Software Factory" as the internship base, scientific research base, entrepreneurial activity base and scientific research achievement transformation base for the majority of students. Using the mode of software factory to introduce industry experience, students can get close contact with cutting-edge technology and solve practical problems in the whole learning process, and be influenced by corporate culture in a subtle way to temper their comprehensive quality.
In order to improve students' practical ability and enhance project experience, the college relies on the software factory to carry out practical training, and incorporates it into the compulsory course system to establish a long-term mechanism to cultivate students' practical ability. All undergraduates will participate in software engineering training for two and a half months in the next semester of junior year. The School of Software unites all the departments that train master of engineering in the school, integrates the resources of training master of engineering in the school, and establishes the "8ME" consortium, aiming at bringing together eight departments with master of engineering training programs, such as the School of Management and the School of Software of Sun Yat-sen University, and cooperating in teaching and research, external promotion and "8ME" forum. Signed 2+2 undergraduate cooperation framework agreements with Illinois Institute of Technology and University of Queensland, Australia, and signed 2+2 undergraduate cooperation training agreements with Birmingham University and Leuven Engineering Joint College, Belgium.

Paying attention to quality training, the College of Moral, Intellectual, Physical and Aesthetic Education regularly carries out campus cultural activities with distinctive themes, and has successively hosted the finals of the "Golden Butterfly Cup National College Student Enterprise Simulation Management Elite Competition (South China)", organized track and field competitions, ball games, song and dance, speech competitions and other cultural activities, and carried out various activities such as the best party group day, class spirit display and training works exhibition, which enriched the spiritual and cultural life of the majority of students. In order to keep students abreast of the latest developments in the software industry at home and abroad and broaden their academic horizons, our college often invites experts and scholars at home and abroad to hold various academic lectures, including Dr. Zhang Yaqin, Vice President of Microsoft Corporation, Dr. Kai-fu Lee, President of Google China, and A&F, Texas, USA. Professor Zhao Wei, Vice President of M University, and other famous experts and scholars at home and abroad also invited senior technical managers from IT companies such as Microsoft Asia Academy of Engineering and IBM to communicate with our college students.
Pay attention to the quality of training, and the graduates have good comprehensive quality, which is well received by employers. In the 2008 ranking published by Wu Shulian "China University Evaluation" research group, our software engineering major ranked sixth in China. Huang Chenyu, an undergraduate of our college, was qualified for the national high-level public graduate program in 2008, and was the only undergraduate among 67 students who were qualified for public school. In the survey organized by China Software Industry Association in 2006, the comprehensive evaluation scores of graduates of our college ranked in the top 9 among 36 software colleges in China. There are 625 undergraduates who graduated in three sessions and 733 postgraduates who graduated in five sessions, including 354 full-time engineering masters.
