The latest information on how to apply for a US business visa.

American business visa processing flow:

American business visa (B- 1 visa) is a visa issued by American units and institutions to foreigners engaged in short-term business activities in the United States (generally 1-6 months). The holder can engage in short-term business activities in the United States, such as business visits, contract negotiations, ordering or selling products, and attending business exhibitions. American business visa (B- 1 visa) is the most issued visa in the United States every year. Because the American business visa (B- 1 visa) does not need to be applied to the Immigration Bureau in advance, and the required materials are relatively simple, people who want to enter the United States for short-term business activities or business visits will generally prefer this visa. In addition, after entering the United States with a US business visa (B- 1 visa), the holder can apply for changing other non-immigrant status or adjusting to immigrant status if the prescribed conditions are met.

Matters needing attention

This kind of visa is also a visa with high refusal rate and strict entry examination, with many restrictions. Mainly: short residence period. Usually three to six months.

The review is strict. Immigrants holding American business visas (visa B- 1) may have to undergo additional checks to determine the purpose of the holder's visit to the United States if they are suspected by immigration officials. This includes asking the immigrant to provide proof of his activities in the United States, verifying relevant business objects in the United States, and showing proof of his ability to pay expenses during his stay in the United States. If you do not meet the requirements or still have questions, you may be refused entry.

Family members are not allowed. If the spouse or children of American business visa (visa B- 1) holders want to accompany them, they must also apply to the embassy or consulate separately, and whether the consular issue is also a separate assessment of the applicant.

Illegal work is prohibited.

Visa officers will mainly consider the following factors when issuing visas:

The applicant will stay in the United States for a short time and will leave the United States before the visa expires.

The applicant has fixed residence, career or career concerns in his own country, or deep-rooted ties in property, family, society and culture, which forced him to return from the United States.

The applicant's trip to the United States is purely for business needs, and the arrangement of his itinerary is also in line with this business activity.

The applicant's travel expenses to and from the United States and expenses in the United States have been prepared, and there is no need to work in the United States.

The applicant will not engage in criminal or illegal activities during his stay in the United States.
