How does the air compressor work?

Working principle of air compressor:

The air compressor rotates in the cylinder through a pair of mutually parallel male and female rotors (or screws), so that the air between the tooth grooves of the rotors constantly produces periodic volume changes, and the air is transported from the suction side to the output side along the rotor axis, thus realizing the whole process of suction, compression and discharge of the screw air compressor. The air inlet and air outlet of the air compressor are located at both ends of the shell, and the grooves of the mother rotor and the teeth of the rotor are driven by the main motor to rotate. ?

It is assumed that the operation mode of the main motor of the original air compressor is "star delta step-down start", and then it runs at full pressure. The specific operation steps are as follows: press the start button, the control system connects the start coil and opens the oil cut-off valve. The air compressor is started in unloading mode. At this time, the intake valve is in the closed position, and the exhaust valve is opened to discharge the pressure in the oil-gas separator. After depressurizing for 2 seconds, the air compressor started to load and run, and the system pressure began to rise. If the system pressure rises to the upper limit value of the pressure switch, the controller closes the air inlet valve, the oil-gas separator deflates, and the compressor runs at no load until the system pressure drops to the lower limit value of the pressure switch. The controller opens the air inlet valve and closes the exhaust valve of the oil-gas separator, and the compressor runs at full load.
