Basic information of Liugongshan

Jianfu Temple on the mountain was once called "Li Mi's Nest" and later called "Dawn's Nest". Legend has it that Li Mi, the leader of the Wagang Army, chased the loyalist to Liugong Mountain with high mountains and dense forests, and Li Mi escaped into the temple alone. At that time, the war was raging, and the monks in the temple had long since disappeared. There are layers of cobwebs and dust everywhere in the temple. Shi Biao let go of the reins and rode into the forest, hiding behind the giant Buddha in the main hall. Loyalists chased them everywhere, trying to get into the main hall, but looking at the cobweb-like dust, I don't know how many years, how can anyone? It turned out that Shi Biao broke through the spider web and entered the house, and the spider web was then compounded as it was. There was nothing unusual on the ground after a breeze blew over the dusty tracks. Loyalist had to let go of the main hall and chase it away. Later, according to legend, the masses called it "Shimiwo".

By the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, there were a group of unscrupulous monks in the temple, who often went down the mountain, blocked the way, robbed past businessmen and harmed the people in the village at the foot of the mountain. They rely on a little martial arts, take "boxing" as the reason, and do evil. Monk Lu defected to Liangshan and happened to pass by Liugong Mountain. Fight with the monks and be surrendered. Kneel down and beg for mercy, and learn from Lu. Shen Zhi told them to turn over a new leaf. From then on, "Li Mi's Nest" was also called "Li Ming's Nest", and Liu Gongshan became the gateway to the northern road of Liangshan peasant uprising army.

Jianfu Hall is magnificent, and Daxiong Hall is still intact. 5 rooms wide and 3 rooms deep, painted with carved beams and painted buildings, arched cornices, exquisite craftsmanship and simple structure. There is a dragon bell with pine and cypress branches in front of the temple. There are murals in the hall, and the stone pillars are engraved with couplets inscribed by Prince Zhu San in the Ming Dynasty. This remains of Buddhist culture, together with the sculptures of Buddha statues in Baifoshan in the east of the lake, Li Si on the cliff, Lotus Temple in Faxing Temple in Liangshan and Yueyan Temple in Kunshan, form a huge Buddhist cultural complex community. Next to the cliff statue of Jianfu Temple, a broken stone tablet is engraved with the words "Chang 'an" and "Tommy", which shows that these giant Buddha statues are undoubtedly works of the Tang Dynasty. The Buddha statue is rigorous in structure, plump and colorful, beautifully carved and lifelike, and has high artistic value. The Buddha statue itself also has the distinctive characteristics of paying attention to realism in the sculpture art of the Tang Dynasty.

According to the Qing Dynasty Dong 'e County Records, Jianfu Temple was built in the late Tang Dynasty. Well, in the ninth year of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 14), monks went to school and rebuilt. "This statement is consistent with the time of the stone tablet in the Buddhist shrine. On the wall of the main hall, there is a description of Jin Dading's restoration of the temple and Jin Shizong in Yan Hongyong, Jin Shizong. Uh, stone tablet.
