The payment of medical expenses for overseas imported cases shall be classified and managed. In the process of returning to China, those who participated in the basic medical insurance were diagnosed as COVID-19 cases and suspected cases, and the medical expenses incurred were implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the basic medical insurance. The medical insurance paid the medical expenses according to the regulations, and the personal burden was partially subsidized by the financial. Those who did not participate in the basic medical insurance were diagnosed as imported COVID-19 cases or suspected cases in the process of returning home, and the medical expenses were borne by the patients themselves. The medical expenses incurred by the identified difficult personnel shall be given medical assistance in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and other laws and regulations. 4. Overseas personnel who have arrived in Chengdu should truthfully declare their health status. Those who refuse to cooperate or intentionally conceal or make false reports, thus causing the spread of the epidemic or serious danger, will be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than seven years in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), and bear corresponding civil liability for compensation according to law. 5. Give full play to the role of joint prevention and control mechanism. Foreign affairs, customs, border inspection, transportation, health, public security, airports, railways and other departments should jointly perform the main responsibilities, implement health and quarantine measures, and strengthen information sharing.
