There are portraits of Wuyi in the ancestral hall, red robes and soap boots, and the weather is majestic. There are also gold tablets of three historical celebrities, Wu Tongren, Wu Zhongying and Wu Peizhi, in the hall. On both sides of the mourning hall, plaques presented by presidents of the Republic of China, such as Li and Feng, are also hung.
There is a corner gate facing west in the front yard of the main hall, which leads to the special shrine of Wu Bohua, commander-in-chief of Huai army in Qing Dynasty. There is a portrait of Wu Bohua hanging in the shrine. There is a horizontal plaque with the word "Shou" inscribed by Empress Dowager Cixi in black on a gold background, and there are plaques inscribed by Li Hongzhang and Li on both sides. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, a group of people from six families followed Li Hongzhang as the Huai Army, and they were promoted and made a fortune for their contribution to suppressing the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. After they returned home, they built a large number of magnificent deep houses.
The first person to return to China was Wu Bohua, commander of self-employed households in China. She embezzled a large amount of property, cultural relics, calligraphy and painting of the Eight Heavenly Kings of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, returned to her hometown in Tongzhi for seven years, bought ten thousand mu of land, chose a place with vast terrain and beautiful brick and tile structure on the north bank of Xingshutang in Liujiafan, and built four mansions facing south. There are five and six rooms in each place, with two rooms in the east wing and two rooms in the west wing, totaling more than 260 rooms.
Wu Bohua has more than 50 houses. 1in the autumn of 997, the daughter of the late owner Wu, a famous social activist in New York, USA, returned home to visit relatives and donated all her houses to six "Zheng Yang Primary Schools" in Fanzhen for kindergarten and teachers' dormitory.
Wu Bohua's second brother, Wu Yulan, was honored as Wang Laiwenguang because he was a prisoner of the Nian Army, and was awarded the title of Tianjin. He went back to his hometown and bought a few acres of Tianwan, so he didn't have to go to other people's fields from Liujiafan to Chaoxian. He built many buildings in six houses with 240 rooms. The two existing places are well preserved. One is in manger lane, and the other is at the northern end of the old street.
There are five rooms and six rooms on each side of the mansion in Mangao Lane. The third room is an embroidered building on the second floor, with carved beams and painted buildings, wooden ladders and hedges, and the windows are bright and clean. There are high walls of wind and fire on both sides After entering the mansion at the northern end of the old street, there is a tall zhaobi in front of the gate. The main room has the word "Shou" inscribed by Cixi. There are also "Spring Festival Evening" inscribed by Li Hongzhang and "Immortal Spring Pavilion" inscribed by Li.
Wu, a famous soldier of Huai army, was born in poverty and made a living by weaving. Later, he joined the Huai army with his uncle Wu Bohua, and retired with success. After Bohua returned to his hometown, he took charge of the headquarters and renamed the word "Hua" camp as "Ren" camp. Officers to company commanders were awarded the title of prefect, and General Jianwei was awarded the title of first-class officer. He is the biggest official in six families. After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, people returned to their hometown, bought land extensively, and built four deep houses and six courtyards in Daguan.
At present, the most complete one is the one on the west side of the official position. The house is the highest and best of the six hospitals, with five rooms and six halls in the back. There is also a pair of stone drums outside the gate. The gate is two feet high and eight feet wide. Every time you enter the hall, there is a cloister box. The girder of the second entrance hall crosses the river with a single dragon, which is a wonder of architecture. The beams and columns of Sanjin Hall are all nanmu carved with precision work. At that time, the word "Fu" written by Empress Dowager Cixi was hung in the main hall, and there were couplets of bamboo slips and Li Hongzhang. Redwood furniture, magnificent.
To the east of the house is Joan of Arc's residence in Janice. Wu Qianzhen is the official to the company commander, from Yipin. When a house is completed, it will enter five times and retreat five times. The paint on the door is mottled, and it is faintly visible that the house number is "Poetry, calligraphy and painting are filial." At that time, Wu Qianzhen studied and raised flowers here, which was quite elegant.
At the intersection of Hubin Road and Zheng Yang Road, Hubin Hospital faces south. It used to be the residence of Wu Zhongying, deputy director of Anhui Military and Political Department.
The house is tall and elegant, with five rooms and four halls, and the entrance is more than ten feet high. The horizontal plaque of "Yuhoutang" is hung on the ceiling, and there are couplets on both sides of the door: "Never gamble for generations, and the family will keep this tradition forever." Between Sanjin and Jin Si is a big yard. There are two magnolia trees in the middle of the yard, which are over 0/00 years old, with tall and straight branches and lush foliage. Every flowering period, fragrant and refreshing, is a treasure.
Wu Jia Garden
Liujiafan has two famous gardens.
There is a big garden in the town east, covering an area of 30 mu, which was built by Wu Zhongying in the early years of the Republic of China for his mother's later years, hence the name "Yiyuan". There are nearly a thousand kinds of exotic flowers and herbs in the garden.
What is particularly commendable is the first purchase of osmanthus from overseas. Petals are divided into single petals and double petals. Colorful, gorgeous and fragrant. There is also a shy tree with a big stem, which lasts for three months and blooms in late spring and early summer, and its color is reddish and purplish. When people are attracted by Iraq and enjoy it, the branches and leaves naturally droop and the flowers suddenly shrink, just like a shy and affectionate girl; When people left, Huazhi began to dance and play with bees and butterflies.
There are rockeries, ponds and streams in the garden, which are quite natural. There is a pavilion on the rockery for tourists to rest. There is also a stone ball, which was released by Wu Guangjie after he returned to China. Engraved with Wu's own articles, it clarifies the origin and function of the earth and promotes scientific knowledge.
There are five western-style houses in the center of the garden, with a wooden horizontal plaque hanging on the lintel, which reads "Qin Guan" and is engraved with a small postscript written by Wu, so as to educate future generations to study hard and make progress.
Wu Bohua built a garden in the northeast of Xingshutang: "It is also a garden". The garden covers an area of more than ten acres, with stacked stones as mountains, ditches as pools, flowers and trees, beautiful trees as shade, exquisite and elegant. The most distinctive feature is a smiling flower, which has a thick bowl mouth and is extremely fragrant, leaving fragrance after the flower.
There is a three-story "Wanghulou" in the northeast corner of the park, overlooking Chaohu Lake in the west. There is a bluestone relief embedded in the Nanshan wall on the second floor, which is Su Shi's Bamboo Stone Map, a famous writer and painter in the Northern Song Dynasty. The poem on the painting says:
Cuckoo's wine is in full bloom,
Liver, lung and forked bamboo stones.
If you want to do something, you can't stay.
Write with the snow-colored walls of the group.
In the bamboo forest in the north, there is a row of houses, where Wu Bohua reads books and greets banquet friends. Wu Zhu has a collection of poems such as Poems in the Garden. At that time, Wu Bohua wrote a palindrome of "Garden is also a garden", which was fruitful, but no one can say for a while.
Zhenhu ancient pagoda
Going out of manger lane to the west, winding up along the hill on the bank of the stream until Chaohu Lake is like Youlong entering the sea. During Guangxu period, Wu raised funds to build Zhenhu Building here. This tower is seven stories high and twelve feet high. It stands high by the water in Ye Ping, and looks magnificent, like a Tianzhu. The tower is a hexagonal dense masonry structure, and iron relief Buddha statues are embedded in the lintel and tower body. There is a spiral staircase in the tower, and you can climb to the top of the tower through the side ladder. Looking down around, you can see all the lakes and mountains.
On both sides of the gate of the tower, there is a long couplet inscribed by Wu Bohua's eldest son, Wu, who wrote:
A pillar of heaven, brilliant structure, really killing spirit.
Eight-dimensional Floating Severiano Reija Journal traces back to the predecessors' thoughts about lakes and mountains.
It's enlightening to think about ancient love.
There are 12 stone carvings on the tower, of which 10 was written by Wu. At the top of the top floor of the tower, a crane is painted, flying in the air, vigorous and beautiful.
The six corners of the tower are tied with bronze bells, and the wind is jingling the bells, which is wonderful. However, due to years of disrepair, the tower and the top of the tower were damaged in many places, and the cities and counties allocated funds to repair them. Zhenhu Tower has been listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.
