The distance from Chongqing Shangqiao to the north bridge head of Fuling Yangtze River Bridge is * * * 1 18km. Road greening

Potential security risks

118km-long yufu expressway has invested nearly 5 billion yuan, and the whole line has been running for less than 8 months. However, there have been many landslides and mudslides, and only 30 kilometers from Huashan Tunnel to Changshou section of Chongqing have experienced three landslides. About 58 kilometers away from Fuling, roadblocks have been set up on the brand-new expressway, and two lanes have become one lane. Within 50 meters, there are two large landslides. More than 20 workers are loading the gravel on the road onto the truck. Several workers beat stones with iron drills on the hillside. On the slope, there are traces of new iron drills.

Many sections of Chongqing-Fuzhou Expressway were built by cutting slopes or cutting mountains to clear the way. The slopes of roadside mountains are very high, and some are close to the vertical angle. The main slope protection measures in expressway are only some low retaining walls. Many of the gravel and soil falling from the hillside have exceeded the retaining wall, and some retaining walls have been broken.

It is not unique to Chongqing that the Chongqing-Fuzhou Expressway does not pay attention to soil and water conservation. The reconstruction of Fuling section of 3 19 National Highway also started ahead of schedule without making a soil and water conservation plan. According to the person in charge of Chongqing, by 2005, the highway mileage in Chongqing will increase from the current 29,000 kilometers to 32,000 kilometers, and expressway will also increase from 232 kilometers to 680 kilometers. Relevant experts call for the treatment of geological disasters along expressway such as Chongqing and Fuzhou as soon as possible, pay attention to related geological disasters and soil and water conservation in the future new expressway project, and design, construct and put into use at the same time as the main project of expressway, otherwise it may cause irreparable losses.
