Korea Korea University Undergraduate Scholarship
There are two kinds of scholarships for undergraduates.
Excellent scholarship for foreigners. You don't need to apply for this scholarship. If your grades are up to standard, the school will waive your 100% tuition.
The other is an upward scholarship for foreigners. This kind of scholarship needs to be applied, but it is very simple. If your grades improve compared with last semester, you have a good chance of winning this scholarship. This scholarship reduces the tuition fee by 50%.
Those who enroll students through foreign colleges only need to pay 50% of the full tuition and registration fee in the first semester, and from the second semester to the eighth semester (from the second semester to the fourth semester for those who transfer). If they got more than 65,438+02 credits in the last semester and the average score was above 70, they can continue to pay only 50% of the full tuition. The school will continue to pay each student 1 60,000 won per month within 1 year (* * * is equivalent to1year's dormitory fee).

Scholarship for foreigners in humanities (b) Scholarship amount: 60% tuition fee is free.

Natural Scholarship for Foreigners (C)
Scholarship amount: 75% tuition fee is exempted.

Applied skills
I. Language
Many students can't imagine that there are language requirements for applying for scholarships. In fact, this language has two aspects. The first is Korean. If students can get high marks in this topik exam, they will have more chances to get bonuses. Therefore, if you want to get a high bonus, you must not only have excellent performance in GPA, but also have a score of 5-6 in topik.
The second is English. Now this kind of bilingual teaching is recognized in Korea, and it is also good for students to apply for bonuses, that is, even if students don't get high marks in topik, they can still make up for it in English. If students can take IELTS test 6.0, they have a great chance to apply for extra points. Moreover, some majors themselves stipulate that students must have good English skills when applying for bonuses, such as finance and diplomacy.
Second, the document.
In South Korea, students don't need to take exams to apply for bonuses, that is, there will be no written tests and interviews. Then when the schools here assess these students who want to apply for bonuses, they usually look at the materials they handed in, especially the paperwork. The most important of these documents are letters of recommendation and study plans.
The study plan must be very detailed, and it is best to write down what your previous study reflected, as well as your subsequent preparation and plan. The recommendation letter had better be written by a teacher you are familiar with. In addition, you can write some extra points on the document, such as whether you studied in a prestigious school before, or you can write it down.
Third, the background
This refers to the software and hardware background of students. Students' hardware ability has always been the main assessment focus, that is, GPA and language scores, which need to be highlighted. If students are lacking in these achievements, improving their soft background can also help them apply for bonuses, such as participating in some competitions. It is best to write down how important these projects are or whether they have won prizes in these competitions.
