Information about Ximen Bao.
Wei ren, China during the Warring States Period. The year of birth and death is unknown. (reigned from 446 BC to 396 BC) was appointed by Ye (now north of Anyang City, Henan Province18km). He is a famous politician, strategist and hydraulic scientist with great achievements. At the same time, he is an atheist. When he first arrived in Yecheng, what he saw was a vast land with few people, barren fields, depression of everything and desolation. Later, I learned that people were troubled by "Hebo married a woman". Wei county has been flooded repeatedly. Witches colluded with Cheng Qun and others, married in the name of Hebo, and squeezed the wealth of the people, and the people were miserable. He skillfully took advantage of the opportunity of three elders, witches and other local gentry and officials to marry Hebo, punished the local bullies, and then issued a law prohibiting witchcraft. Educate the public. The people who escaped originally also returned to their homes. At the same time, he personally led people to investigate the water source and mobilized the people to dig 12 canals around the Zhanghe River, making a large area of land a fertile field for drought and flood. While developing agricultural production, it also implemented the policy of "raising soldiers through agriculture and storing grain for the people", which soon made Yecheng rich and strong and became an important town in the northeast of Wei during the Warring States Period. Because Ximen Bao was well-run and deeply loved by the people, later generations built temples as sacrifices.
