Introduction to Planning and Research Institute:
China Urban Planning and Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as China Planning and Design Institute) is a scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China. China Urban Planning and Design Institute is the national center for urban planning research, design and academic information. It integrates urban and rural planning, engineering design, tourism planning and design, cultural relics protection engineering survey and design, architectural engineering design and building intelligence.
Formerly known as "Zhejiang Economic Construction Planning Institute", the Institute was founded in 1985 and is a provincial-level institution approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. Mainly engaged in economic construction and social development research and planning, early consultation, evaluation and demonstration of construction projects, providing intellectual services for decision-making, implementation and management of government departments and various investors.
It is the first batch of comprehensive decision-making consulting institutions with Grade A engineering consulting qualification in China, a group member and executive director of China Engineering Consulting Association (CNAEC), and the earliest FIDIC group member in China.
