Article 9 of the Measures for the Administration of Temporary Resident Identity Cards in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that citizens who meet the conditions stipulated in Article 2 of these Measures may apply to the local police station where their permanent residence is located for a temporary resident identity card. Citizens under the age of 16 shall apply for temporary resident identity cards by guardians.
The steps for handling temporary id card are as follows:
1. Go to the police station where the permanent residence is located, submit the household registration book and my recent one-inch bareheaded black-and-white photo (the photo size standard is the same as the resident ID card), and pay the license fee of 65,438 yuan +00 yuan. /kloc-citizens under the age of 0/6 shall be applied by their guardians.
Two, the police station will be submitted to the county (city) public security bureau or district public security bureau for approval and issuance, and is responsible for the production of documents.
Three, the public security organ shall issue a certificate to the applicant within 3 days after receiving the application.
Four, citizens who have received a temporary identity card, should return the temporary identity card when receiving the identity card.
