High school graduates from all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) who meet the registration requirements for the 2020 national unified examination for college entrance examination, are ambitious, pursue Excellence, have excellent comprehensive quality or are top-notch in basic disciplines, and are interested in engaging in scientific research in related fields in the future can apply.
03 enrollment major
In 2020, the enrollment plan of our school in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) shall be subject to the announcement of our school's registration system.
The enrollment majors in our school are divided into basic science academic majors, basic science engineering convergence majors and basic liberal arts majors.
The academic majors of basic science include: mathematics and applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological science, information and computing science, aiming at selecting and cultivating students who have outstanding expertise in basic science and are interested in related basic research.
The connecting majors of basic science engineering include: basic mathematics science, chemical biology and theoretical and applied mechanics, aiming at selecting and cultivating students who have a good foundation in basic science and are interested in high-end chips and software, intelligent technology, new materials, advanced manufacturing, national security and other key fields.
The majors of basic liberal arts include: China language and literature (the direction of ancient philology), history and philosophy, aiming at selecting and cultivating students who have special skills in the field of basic liberal arts and are interested in related research.

04 registration method
From May/KLOC-0 to May 30, candidates can log on to the registration platform of Tsinghua University Qiangji Program, fill in the application form accurately and completely as required, and submit it.

1. Voluntary report
(1) Students from non-reform provinces apply for disciplines according to their own liberal arts disciplines, and disciplines are not allowed to apply at the same time. A maximum of five professional volunteers are allowed to fill in the subject group.
(2) Students in the reformed provinces need to apply for the professional group according to their own college entrance examination subjects. The professional group is not allowed to fill in at the same time, and the professional group is allowed to fill in up to five professional volunteers.
(3) Students who have outstanding talent and performance in related disciplines must be consistent with their major.
2. Candidates who apply for the "Strong Foundation Program" of our school cannot apply for the strong foundation programs of other universities at the same time.
05 selection program
1. shortlisting: according to the students' college entrance examination scores (excluding policy points, the same below), the list of students shortlisted for college evaluation (the last one is shortlisted at the same time) is determined according to five times the number of enrollment plans of the students' provincial disciplines or professional groups, and the shortlisted results are announced.
Students who have outstanding talent and performance in related disciplines and won the second prize in the national finals and above in the Olympic competitions of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics can be shortlisted.
The scores of the short-listed students in the college entrance examination shall not be lower than the minimum control scores of a batch of undergraduate students in each province (the provinces that merge a batch of undergraduate students shall be subject to the corresponding scores specified separately by the province).
The finalist results will be announced in the registration system.
2. Assessment: Our school will carry out the assessment of the strong foundation plan in the form of comprehensive assessment, and comprehensively and deeply examine students' ability and literacy through comprehensive quality assessment, academic level assessment, professional interest assessment and physical fitness assessment.
Comprehensive quality evaluation will evaluate students' comprehensive quality materials, organize comprehensive interviews and verify students' comprehensive quality materials at the same time. The academic level evaluation is conducted by written test. Professional interest assessment is conducted through professional investigation. Physical fitness examination will be conducted by physical fitness test, including height, weight, vital capacity, step exercise test, sitting forward and standing long jump.
The school assessment work plan will be adjusted according to the situation of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in Beijing, and the specific assessment forms and testing links will be subject to the follow-up notice of our school.
3. Conversion of comprehensive score: the comprehensive score is calculated according to the total score of the college entrance examination (converted from 85 points to full score)+the college examination score (converted from 15 points to full score) (if the students' comprehensive scores are the same, they are sorted according to the single order and the high and low scores, and the single order is: college examination score and college entrance examination total score).

(1) Conversion method of total college entrance examination score: students' college entrance examination score/full score of college entrance examination in this province ×85 (rounded to 2 decimal places).
(2) Conversion method of college examination results: The college examination results are calculated with 100 as full score and converted into 15 (rounded to two decimal places).
4. Confirmation of admission: According to the results of the short-listed students in the college entrance examination, the pre-admission list is determined according to the comprehensive scores of students from different provinces and different disciplines (professional groups) from high to low, and the admission scores are announced. Students who participate in the professional investigation determine their major according to the results of the professional investigation, and other students determine their major in the discipline group (professional group) according to the principles of "comprehensive score first" and "parallel professional volunteer". Candidates who meet the minimum admission score of comprehensive scores but fail to meet the requirements of professional volunteers and are willing to obey professional adjustment will be adjusted.
Students who have outstanding talent and performance in related disciplines and are shortlisted can be admitted only when their comprehensive scores reach the admission scores of the provinces (professional groups). Short-listed students do not occupy the strong basic enrollment plan announced by the province when they are admitted.
After the pre-admission list of the strong foundation plan is discussed and approved by the leading group of enrollment work in our school, it will be submitted to the provincial enrollment examination institution for review and admission procedures. The admitted students will no longer participate in the follow-up college entrance examination; Students who are not admitted can participate in the subsequent batch of college entrance examination voluntary admission.

1. Establish a society to promote the strong foundation plan as a whole. The school attaches great importance to the enrollment and training of the strong foundation plan. In order to better implement the strong foundation plan, at the same time, better establish an undergraduate teaching system based on general education and integrating general education with professional education, and maintain the advantages of cultivating talents with a thick foundation and wide caliber, the school has newly established five academies as talent training units for the strong foundation plan. 2. Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and reforming the student training mode. For the strong foundation program, students are enrolled in classes, equipped with first-class teachers with high enthusiasm, providing first-class learning conditions and creating first-class academic environment and atmosphere. Customize high-level general education courses for students of strong basic projects, improve the quality of professional core courses, encourage interdisciplinary and research-based learning, and implement training modes such as tutorial system and small class size. 3. Integration of science and education, strengthening students' mission drive. 4. Linking different stages of research and training. Our school organically links the training process of undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Strong Foundation Program. Upon graduation, students who meet the qualification requirements of our university for postgraduate study without examination can be given priority to recommend postgraduate study without examination in related majors.
5. Open communication and improve the level of international communication. Give full play to the advantages of domestic and foreign resources, hire famous scientists with international influence to give guidance, come to the school to teach, and participate in cutting-edge lectures, thesis guidance and other teaching activities. Through joint training, exchange programs, laboratory research, etc. Students with strong basic projects will be sent to foreign first-class universities in a planned and purposeful way to study and exchange, broaden their international horizons, enhance their academic self-confidence and cultivate their innovative spirit.
6. Students admitted through the strong foundation program shall not be transferred to a major other than the admission major in principle.

Our school attaches great importance to the standardized management of enrollment of strong foundation programs, and earnestly strengthens the discipline and accountability of enrollment of strong foundation programs. Strengthen the management of assessment process and improve the enrollment decision-making mechanism; Conscientiously implement the responsibility of enrollment supervision of the strong foundation plan, and strengthen the supervision of the whole process of registration, evaluation and admission.
2. Students should provide true and accurate application materials based on the principle of honesty and credit. If there are false contents or major facts that may adversely affect students, once verified, their qualifications will be immediately cancelled, and the provincial entrance examination institutions or education administrative departments where the students are located will be notified; Those who have entered the school will be cancelled according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and our school, and the graduation certificate and degree certificate found after graduation will be cancelled. Middle schools should carefully verify the materials distributed. If there is fraud, our school reserves the right to take relevant measures. Our school will review the admission qualifications of the admitted students, and those who do not have the admission qualifications will be dealt with according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education.
3. The registration and testing of our strong foundation projects are free. Students who have difficulties in re-examination due to family economic reasons may apply for grants from our school.
4. The enrollment and training of our school's strong foundation plan are implemented in accordance with the relevant policies of the Ministry of Education. If the policy is adjusted, it shall be implemented according to the new regulations.
