Brief introduction of Jiuzhou River

Kyushu River and Beibu Gulf Water System in the South China Sea. Originated in Luchuan County, Yulin City, Guangxi Province, it flows through Wendi Town, Luchuan County, Bobai County, Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province, and flows into Beibu Gulf. With a total length of 162km and a rainwater collection area of 2 137km2, it is the longest river with the most tributaries in Lianjiang. There are many tributaries in the basin, mainly Tanning River, Wuling River, Shachan River, Tuocun River and Changshan River. Hedi Reservoir is built at the junction of Guangxi and Guangdong of Jiuzhou River, and its irrigation canal system runs through most areas of Leizhou Peninsula from north to south. Lianjiang, Suixi, Haikang, suburb of Zhanjiang, Wuchuan and Huazhou counties have been irrigated, and grain has been harvested year after year. Lianjiang people call it "Mother River". 1
