Can you put a sail net on the car cover in cold weather?

According to my understanding and experience in the automobile industry, I don't recommend installing a sail net above the hood. The car cover is mainly used to protect the outer surface of the car from weathering, dust and sunlight. Sail nets are usually used in activities such as sailing and camping to keep out sunlight, rain and insects. Adding a sail net to the top of the hood may cause the following problems:

1. Increased air resistance: The sail net will increase the air resistance when the car is running, which may lead to an increase in fuel consumption.

2. Temperature problem: the sail net will block some airflow, which may affect the cooling effect of the engine and cooling system, and then affect the running temperature of the car.

3. Safety: increasing the sail net may hinder the driver's vision and increase the driving safety risk.

To sum up, I don't recommend adding a sail net above the hood. If you need to protect the car from the sun or dust, it is recommended to choose a cover made of suitable materials specially designed for the car and use it according to the instructions.
