Career planners are not omnipotent. They need to know clearly that they should provide career development counseling services, not psychological counseling or psychotherapy.
2. keep it secret? Keep clients' files and consulting information confidential, and balance the relationship between clients and their own institutional needs.
3. punctuality? When providing consultation, you should arrive at the consultation place earlier than the agreed time.
4. avoid? Career planners should avoid consulting when it may affect the principle of confidentiality.
5. with your heart? Be familiar with the information and never make low-level mistakes; Learn more; Analyze the cause and effect of things; Serious and responsible, strong sense of responsibility; Suggestions should be well-founded and practical.
6. help each other? Career planners should maintain a good working relationship with supervisors and employers/supervisors at the same time, and reach an understanding with them on the following issues: recommendation, consultation and interview relationship, confidentiality, preservation and use of consultation files, workload, responsibilities to be undertaken, etc.
Teamwork should gradually form its own think tank.
If you suspect that the job content is beyond your ability or the business scope of the career planner, the career planner needs to ask the supervisor for help immediately.
7. Is it consistent? The services and information output provided by professional planners, including consulting services, classroom guidance, public classes/demonstrations, articles and media interviews, must meet the requirements of this code of professional ethics?
