Wanrong County is located on the east bank of the Yellow River at the intersection of Fenhe River and Yellow River, in the southwest of Shanxi Province at the junction of North China, Northwest China and Central Plains, and in the northwest of Yuncheng City, belonging to Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province.
