Li Bosheng's story

Li Bosheng-Jade Carver Li Bosheng was born in 194 1, graduated from Beijing No.7 Middle School in 1957, and worked in Beijing Jade Factory in 1958. He studied with two artists, He Rong and Wang Shusen, among the "four eccentrics" in the old jade carving world. He used to be the deputy of the Seventh and Eighth National People's Congress, the vice president of Beijing Arts and Crafts Masters Association, and the librarian of Beijing Arts and Crafts Museum. Senior Arts and Crafts Artist, awarded the title of Master of Arts and Crafts of China, and the Special Master of Arts and Crafts of Beijing Arts and Crafts Corporation, awarded the honorary member of the World Boxing Federation. His works are famous for their characters, ingenious ideas and deliberate influence. In the 1970s, Li Bosheng created a number of outstanding works, such as Flying Swallows on the Drum and Hating Happiness Being Late, focusing on the delicacy and boldness of China's traditional meticulous painting. In the 1980s, he entered the mature stage of art, became more proficient in character modeling, dynamics, pattern processing and various techniques, and created many artistic treasures such as The Beginning of Life and Infinite Life Buddha. His works are full of emotions and scenes, and are famous for their ingenious ideas, novel themes, beautiful shapes and meticulous descriptions. 1979 agate's pretty color "hate being late" won the first place in the national jade carving character appraisal. 1985, Emerald "Fanshi in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter". Agate is a "Buddha with Infinite Life" and won the Hundred Flowers Award Gold Cup Award. 1986, Agate Water Gallbladder Night Tour in Chibi, Hundred Flowers Award Hope Cup Award. 1989, The Beginning of Life won the first prize of Hundred Flowers Award Creative Design. During the period of 1992, biographies were compiled into People's Yearbook of China, Who's Who of Arts and Crafts in China, Stars of Arts and Crafts in Contemporary China and Talents in Contemporary China.
