The origin of the word lighthouse

The purpose of worship

"Worship" is a pillar of Islam and is considered as "the foundation of religion". Any Muslim who fails to follow the worship course without justifiable reasons is a serious offense and an abominable sin. This violation is so serious because it not only violates Allah, which is bad enough, but also violates the true nature of human nature. It is human nature to tend to praise great things and long for lofty goals. The greatest and noblest goal in this universe is to worship Allah.

The best way to cultivate a perfect personality and realize his wishes in a mature and prudent way is to follow Islam? Goodbye. Ignore? Worship is to suppress the goodness of human nature, which is tantamount to rejecting people's right to mutual respect, love, worship and admiration, and the right to climb up and reach the highest goal. Repression and rejection like this will constitute a very serious and destructive offense. We are here to talk about the great significance and great role of worship in life.

God wants nothing.

We should always remember that Allah does not need people to worship, because there is nothing to ask for. Only care about our development and well-being in all aspects. When we repeatedly emphasize the necessity of worship and entrust this responsibility to us, it is helping us; Because whatever good we do, it's for ourselves. Interests, at the same time, no matter what we do to offend and blaspheme, are against our own spiritual soul. Besides, people are the center of gravity of all things in the world, and people's interests and well-being have become major events in the world. What can people get from this Islamic worship? The benefits are immeasurable, and worship can bring us happiness far beyond our imagination. This is not only a "theory", but also a traditional assumption; This is an attractive and fascinating fact and a spiritual experience.

The efficacy of worship

The influence of Islamic worship is briefly described as follows:

(1) Worship can strengthen people's belief in the existence and kindness of God, and convey this belief to the deep heart.

(2) It can make this belief brilliant and vivid, and make it produce constructive effects in people's actual daily life.

(3) It can help people understand his innate admiration and yearning for great things and lofty morality.

(4) It purifies people's mind, enlightens people's wisdom, nourishes people's conscience and soothes people's spirit.

(5) It can promote the essence of goodness and morality in people's hearts and restrain the tendency of evil and immorality in people's hearts.

Practice of integrating wisdom

When we analyze the essence of Islamic worship and study its unique characteristics, we can easily find that it is actually not just some body movements, or some chapters of the Koran recited in words. It is an unparalleled and unprecedented practice norm that integrates wisdom retreat, spiritual dedication, moral promotion and physical movement. This can be said to be a unique experience of Islam, that is, every muscle in the whole body is completely combined with the soul and mind in the worship and praise of God. No one can express the full meaning of Islamic worship with pen, ink or words, but in general, it can be summarized as follows:

(1) is a course of discipline and willpower;

(2) it is a practice that shows piety and dedication to Allah and all valuable goals;

(3) Kindly reminding people not to forget God and constantly enlighten others;

(4) A seed of spiritual cultivation and moral perfection;

(5) guidelines for establishing the most correct lifestyle;

(6) Being the guardian of rude words and deeds, evil thoughts and wrong thoughts;

(seven) the concrete embodiment of true equality, unity and friendship;

(8) An expression of remembering and praising God;

(9) Ways to achieve domestic peace and stability;

(10) A rich resource of patience and courage, hope and confidence.

This is the various benefits that Islamic worship can bring to people. The best way to prove these claims is to experience worship personally and accept the spiritual joy it brings. Then we can easily understand the real meaning.

Conditions of worship

Worship is the duty of every Muslim man and woman, as follows:

(1) Conscious;

(2) People who are psychologically mature and enter adolescence. Generally speaking, they are about fourteen. [Parents should enlighten their children at the age of seven and actively encourage them at the age of ten];

(three) no major illness, for women, usually not during menstruation or postpartum. For this, the longest period of the former is ten days, while the latter is forty days. In this case, women can be completely exempted from the obligation of worship.

Basic requirements before worship (otherwise, worship is invalid):

(a) Clean the car body [for large nets and small nets]. (We will elaborate on this in a special chapter. )

(2) The remains, clothes worn on the body and places of worship should be kept clean and free from any impurity;

(3) To dress appropriately, the principle is to conform to general moral standards and cover private parts of the body. For men, at least cover the navel to the knee. As for women, every part of the whole body should be covered except the face, hands and feet. At the same time, both men and women must avoid wearing transparent clothes when they worship;

(4) The intention of worship should be expressed not only in the heart, but also in the mouth if possible;

(5) Facing the right direction, that is, towards Kaaba in Mecca. There are many ways to determine the correct direction, so I won't go into details here. However, if you really can't know, you don't have to force it. It is also feasible to decide with your own ideas.

Types of worship

Types of worship:

(1) The main command worships [fate]. This week includes worshipping five times a day and meeting at noon every Friday. Failure to observe these prayers is a serious punishable crime unless there is a legitimate reason.

(2) Sacrament worship (divided into "of course" WAJIB and "walking worship" SUNNAH sound), this week includes worship accompanied by the Lord's command, and "general ceremonies" (Eid al-Fitr and filial piety ceremonies) twice a year. Failure to observe these services is harmful negligence and shameful behavior.

(3) Self-study worship (that is, auxiliary worship), including all prayers voluntarily made at any time during the day or night to appreciate and worship God. There are two periods in a day that are especially suitable for this week, namely, after midnight to the moment before dawn and the morning before noon.

Time for worship

Every Muslim, male or female, must worship five times a day on time-unless there are legal reasons, there must be no exemption, merger or even postponement of worship.

They are:

(1) Morning Ceremony [Salatu-l-fajr]: Did this worship first appear in the East? Any time between dawn and sunrise.

(2) Prayer [Salatu-z-zuhr]: This kind of worship will be held at any time after sunrise, that is, the sun has just begun to tilt to the west until the sun is halfway [45 degrees to the horizon].

Note: For example, if the sunset time is 7: 00 p.m. sharp, worship can be held after noon 12: 00 and before 3: 30 p.m. ... just after 3: 30, the next week will begin. However, the exact time needs to be informed through the local calendar time. However, if there is no calendar or timetable to rely on, we have to rely on our best judgment. Note: Muslim brothers and sisters living in the daylight saving time area seem to be confused about the appropriate time for the "gathering ceremony" every Friday. This difficulty can be solved in the simplest way, that is, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, this week should be carried out between 1: 30 and 2: 30 in the afternoon. We sincerely suggest that brothers and sisters change their lines and make it a fixed moment that can be followed for a long time. 〕

(3) Salatu-I'-ASR: This service is carried out from the end of the "noon ceremony" to sunset.

(4) Salatu-l-maghrib: The proper time for this worship is from sunset (that is, after the sun disappears on the horizon) to the meeting of @A, until Xia Hong on the western horizon disappears completely.

(5) Night Ceremony [Salatu-i-isha]: The time of this worship began when the splendor on the horizon in the west of Rosty Yi completely disappeared until before dawn.

It is worth noting that the prescribed time of worship in Islam can make people's recuperation and physical recuperation coordinate with each other, and the combination of spiritual tranquility and physical relaxation can determine the time for us to have breakfast. "lunch ceremony" is in line with lunch time; "Gift" is about the time for afternoon tea or coffee; "Faint Rites" is about before and after meals; "Night gift" can be combined with the time to eat midnight snack. At the same time, it is worth noting that as a Muslim, in order to obey these five prayers, you can carry them all day from morning till night? Spiritual symbol. So he combined religion with life, ended the whole day's behavior with a feeling of caring for God, and was able to build his moral taste on a solid foundation. In addition, a Muslim can also bring a kind of spiritual vitality into all aspects of his life in this way, so that religion can exist in various activities. Whether in shops, offices, families, farms or even factories, it will have an impact. It will shine brilliantly in all walks of life. In fact, this week's schedule is unusual, because it is the masterpiece of Allah and the product of Islam.

It's best to worship as soon as possible when it's time to worship, so as to avoid some unforeseen things delaying the time. These weeks are sacred games. People who can experience such activities get immeasurable rewards and unimaginable happiness. The happiness they have gained, the joy they have experienced and the glory they have gained cannot be described in words. Not taking part in this kind of competition is a punishable crime. This will lead to severe punishment, mental torture, mental pain and social isolation.

If a person is traveling or sick, his "ZUHR" and "Asr" can be combined. Meanwhile, in this case? In this case, his "〔MAGHRIB" and "Yisha" can also be merged once. [Note: In the first case mentioned above? In this case, it is advisable to adopt the method of "advance", that is, advance the "ceremony" to the "afternoon ceremony" immediately after the ceremony. What about the second love? Next, it is to move the "faint ceremony" back to the front of the "night ceremony", that is, to perform the "night ceremony" immediately after the "faint ceremony". This method of combining worship can alleviate the psychological anxiety of those who can't worship on time because of legitimate reasons, such as travel, work, illness, etc. 〕
