Han-Chang Railway starts from Handan Station of Beijing Railway Bureau of Beijing-Guangzhou Line in the east, passes through Wu 'an, Shexian and Lucheng of Shanxi Province to Changzhi North Station of Taijiao Line, and is connected with the southern railway passage of Shanxi Province, with a total length of 22 1.7km, Hebei Province 1.565438km and Shanxi Province 70.7 km.

The Han-long line consists of the original Cishan branch line, the Hanhe branch line, the magnetic branch line and the long-distance railway. * * * There are 33 stations. Together with Beitaijiao Line (Taiyuan to Changzhi North), Yang She Line and Hanji Line, it forms the coal transportation channel of Shanxi Middle Road. The line leads southwest from Han Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, along the west bank of Nanluo River, passes through Laishui, Xishu and Shexian, enters Taihang Mountain area, crosses the junction of Hebei and Shanxi provinces between Qingzhang River and Zhangzhuo River, enters Changzhi City of Shanxi Province, passes through Yucheng and Lucheng, and reaches Changzhi North Station of Taijiao Line, which occupies an important position in the road network. Along the line, it passes through two main rivers, Qingzhang River and Zhangzhuo River, and the geological situation is more complicated. In the bridge design, the first reinforced concrete rigid frame bridge with inclined legs with a main span of 82m in Zhang Zhuo Valley was built by using new technologies such as flexible pier and inclined leg rigid frame.
