The Han-long line consists of the original Cishan branch line, the Hanhe branch line, the magnetic branch line and the long-distance railway. * * * There are 33 stations. At the end of 1960s, the Third Railway Hospital began to investigate and design the line, which was built in 1978 with a designed transportation capacity of13.9 million tons. 1998, in order to meet the needs of the opening of Han Ji railway, another 940 million yuan was invested in capacity expansion and transformation, and the current transportation capacity is190,000 tons.

At the end of March, 1965, 438+05 double-track electrification started, and it was put into operation simultaneously with Han Ji and Huang Han railways.
The Han-Chang line is the most convenient passage connecting southeastern Shanxi and southern Hebei, and it is also an important part of the south road of Shanxi coal transportation. Together with Beitaijiao Line (Taiyuan to Changzhi North), Yang She Line and Hanji Line, it forms the coal transportation channel of Shanxi Middle Road. The line leads southwest from Han Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, along the west bank of Nanluo River, passes through Laishui, Xishu and Shexian, enters Taihang Mountain area, crosses the junction of Hebei and Shanxi provinces between Qingzhang River and Zhangzhuo River, enters Changzhi City of Shanxi Province, passes through Yucheng and Lucheng, and reaches Changzhi North Station of Taijiao Line, which occupies an important position in the road network. Along the line, it passes through two main rivers, Qingzhang River and Zhangzhuo River, and the geological situation is more complicated. In the bridge design, the first reinforced concrete rigid frame bridge with inclined legs with a main span of 82m in Zhang Zhuo Valley was built by using new technologies such as flexible pier and inclined leg rigid frame.
