Dalian Education Bureau is the functional department of Dalian Municipal People's Government, and is responsible for the education management in Dalian.
Mainly responsible for implementing the education policies of the party and the state, formulating local education laws and regulations, and studying and formulating the development plan, annual plan and development focus of the city's education.

(three) responsible for the management of teachers in the city, overall planning and guiding the construction of talent team in the education system, and organizing the implementation of teacher qualification standards.
(IV) Responsible for managing the education funds of the department, supervising the raising and use of the city's education funds, participating in the formulation of education fund raising, management and infrastructure investment policies, making overall arrangements for the city's education surcharge and special education funds, managing the procurement of fixed assets and equipment of directly affiliated units, and inspecting, guiding and auditing the arrangement and use of education funds of all districts, cities and counties (open pilot areas) and directly affiliated units jointly with relevant departments.
