What is a high voltage welding machine?

High-pressure welder refers to the welder who meets the welding requirements of pressure weld. In these two methods, the tungsten electrode is close to the workpiece, but not in contact, leaving a gap of 2 ~ 5 mm between them. The voltage of these two methods is very high, reaching 2000~3000V V, and the high voltage is used to break through the space between the electrode and the workpiece to form a spark discharge. Under the action of high voltage, a strong electric field is formed in the arc space, which strengthens the ionization of electrons emitted by cathode and arc space, and makes the arc space quickly change from spark discharge or glow discharge to arc discharge.

Due to the high temperature generated during arc discharge, arc discharge can be maintained at a low voltage. Therefore, the arc striking process is completed. When starting an arc, high voltage is needed to break through the arc space, in order to use high frequency or pulse voltage safely.
