(1) The pilot is not well prepared. If you are not familiar with the flight area. I didn't bring all the necessary maps, the predictive drawing operation and pilot calculation were incomplete or seriously wrong, I didn't understand or remember the navigation data wrong, I didn't have a pilot plan or the plan was unrealistic, and I didn't carefully check the pilot equipment on board, which led to the equipment flying with faults.
(2) Carelessness in aerial work can lead to serious mistakes. For example, the pilot's plan is changed rashly, the course and arrival time are not calculated, or there are serious errors in the calculation, the wrong scheduled course is set or the wrong course is read, the calculated position of the aircraft is not always grasped, and various pilot equipment is comprehensively used to check the flight path.
(3) Failure to properly handle special circumstances. In case of sudden bad weather, if you are forced to fly at dusk or night without preparation for night flight, or enter the unknown geomagnetic anomaly area at low altitude, you may get lost if you don't handle it properly.
(4) lax organization and command. For example, giving incompetent tasks to pilots, not carefully checking the pilot establishment of pilots, and the ground navigation equipment is not easy to use.
2. Disposal after loss
Once lost in flight, the flight crew must be calm, make correct treatment quickly according to the situation and resume flight as soon as possible. The following measures should be taken:
(1) immediately report the loss to the ground commander, and send out the loss signal according to the regulations, so as to get possible help from the ground.
(2) Write down the time, strive for the longest flight time in the flight state with maximum endurance, continue to fly on the original route or hover over prominent landmarks, thus determining the situation and calculating the lost area. Never blindly change course, airspeed and altitude.
(3) Check the fuel quantity and calculate the time to continue flying.
(4) Create favorable conditions for the return flight according to the return flight rules of the flight area, the plan for handling the loss of connection scheduled in the pilot's plan or the instructions of the ground commander. For example, when you get lost near the border, you have to take a route perpendicular to the border and fly back to our area; When you get lost in bad weather, you should fly to areas with better weather; Flying in the mountains means flying to the plains.
